At the heart of Cozumel Tours is a passion for scuba diving, and a certified divemaster with experience as a diving tourist and as a DM working the boats, with visitors of all diving experience levels. We want you to fall in love with this amazing national marine park, too, in a safe, relaxing and fun way, where you’re not just a number.

Let us hook you up with some of the best dive shops, dive pros, and captains that we’ve known and loved for over 10 years! Whether you want a 2-tank boat dive, some night diving, or a specialty diving excursion to hunt for lion fish, or to dive some of the sites in the North that many shops don’t access (advanced certifications required), CozTours can answer all your questions first, and then make arrangements for you to experience the world-class Cozumel reefs on your terms.

Private Divemaster services can be arranged, too.  We are women-friendly, and have lots of experience with dive instruction, newly certified divers, junior divers, certified divers who haven’t been in the water in a while, and underwater photographers who want to choose their depth, take their time, and not be rushed before they get that perfect shot.

Shore dives and refresher courses are also available for certified divers who haven’t gotten wet in a while!  Get reacquainted with your gear, check your weights and buoyancy, review your skills in a calm setting. There will still be plenty to see, and it’s time well spent, so you can make the most of your time (and money) when you go on to book your boat dives. The reefs will thank you, too!

Duration: Durations will vary, depending on your preferences. Typically, 2-tank trips leave in the morning around 8pm, and return around 1pm.  Afternoon departures can be arranged. Twilight and Night diving is usually from about 5pm to 9pm.  Specialty excursion times depend on demand and schedules. Shore diving can happen almost any time, with a little advanced planning.

Accessibility Info & Important Notes:

Divers for these activities must be certified, and bring their C-cards to the meeting point.  The dive shops we work with are fully permitted for diving in the National Marine Park, and insured, and will require you to fill out the standard release form before renting gear (if needed), using weights and tanks, or boarding the boats.

Activities should be planned according to the interests and abilities of your group members.  Divers who haven’t been on a dive in over a year, or never in the ocean, are encouraged to start their diving activities with a shore dive to check weight and buoyancy, and re-familiarize themselves with their diving gear and their basic open water skills. Safety first.
